GIVEAWAY

hello all! fall is here. out our windows, these past couple of days, the wind has been blowing the chill right in. the floors are feeling a little colder and the oven has been on a bit more. baking fall yumminess right into the walls of this place. it's fabulous.

my little felt leaf garland is up in my living room. i made about 10 of them for the Indie Craft Parade this year. they have all been purchased, save 1. instead of listing it on my etsy site, i thought i would have a little giveaway for you, dear reader.

Photobucket

i would love for you to leave a comment. i will choose a winner randomly from the comments section and will somehow get the winner this lovely piece of autumn spirit so he/she can enjoy it in his/her home this season.

Photobucket

1-- anything at all. a simple 'hi' will do

OR

2-- your favorite fall-related thing

OR

3-- your go-to treat for a random sugar fix in the middle of the week. cookies? pound cake? something magical i've never heard of?

thank you.

My favorite fall-related thing? The clothes! People look so much better in fall because layers make outfits interesting. Cardigans and scarves and boots, oh my!

It is hard to pick which favorite yummy thing. Apple crisp warm with ice cream wins though I think. I love Fall! You are so crafty Jo, love the garland. Hope you are doing well.

i think the thing i miss most about autumn is the smell. those drying leaves have such a sweet and alive smell. i miss that. but i do love that i still get to eat marion's ginger snaps AND drink cider. i love cider. it's so tart and sweet at the same time. i love you jo! i want to go on a fall walk with you.

Anything apple, warm and of course with vanilla ice cream.

I love to drink hot cider, sit outside and take in Fall, my favorite season.

Love your garland!

sweet treat?.....it's hard to narrow it down. This time of year I am prone to look through a cookbook and bake something gooey and comforting....like cinnamon rolls or apple crisp. Odd as this may sound, it is actually easier to whip that up than to drag my three littles to a store for something pre made. While I'm here, I'd like to tell you that your blog is a comfort to me. You are in the same stage of life as myself....I also recently moved across the country from my best friend and sister (one in the same :) ), so reading about how you miss your sister and cherish the times you do get to visit with her blesses me...and i always forward those posts to my sister so we can be blessed together. So, thank you.
Blessings, Judith

Oooo, Joanna, I've been wanting to make one of these, but I don't know if I'll ever get to it. I love walking in the woods in the fall and the smell of musty leaves and pumpkin everything and freshly picked crisp apples. But my need sugar moments have been satisfied lately by a spoongul out of the Hershey's hot fudge topping jar. I'm afraid it will never make it to the top of a scoop of ice cream. :)
